Open to British Bred Ponies
This competition is to encourage both performance and education of British bred ponies and their riders. Qualifiers will run from 1st April through to March 2026 and culminate in the NPS Supreme Dressage Championship final held at Bury Farm Equitation Centre, Leighton Buzzard. 16th May 2026.
Open to registered Mountain & Moorland Breeds
Open to registered British Riding Ponies
Open to Part Bred Horses / Ponies including Part Bred Arabs
Highest placed Mini Rider aged 12 years and under on 1st January 2025
Highest placed Junior Rider under 18 years on 1st January 2025
To qualify for the 2026 Supreme Dressage Championship you must have scored 59% or above in Preliminary and Novice classes and the qualification card MUST be filled in and returned to the NPS Office with £8 fee to secure your place in the final.
Horses / ponies must be ridden at the final by the qualifying rider, the owner or rider must be fully paid up Performance, Qualifying or Life members of the NPS in order to compete at the Final.
Tests are run under British Dressage rules and judged by a British Dressage judge. Only short arena Preliminary and Novice tests will be used.
